Rachel Simon, CPA

EXPERIENCE
Rachel assists clients with public company filings, mergers and acquisitions and audits requiring special regulatory knowledge. She leads yearly and quarterly audits and reviews and also consults with the firm’s non-audit clients on financial statement issues and footnote disclosures.
With her extensive audit background, Rachel has worked with both public and privately held entities providing financial statement audits and due diligence and special reports. She is part of the SEC Company practice and has worked with numerous clients in the hospitality, restaurant, financial service, real estate, entertainment, and professional service industries.
ACTIVITIES/MEMBERSHIPS
Rachel has national accounting firm experience and serves as the firm’s Quality Control Officer. She also leads the firm’s Employee Benefit Plan group and is a member of the AICPA’s Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
In her free time, she enjoys playing bridge, tennis and traveling.
