Kurt T. Yamaguchi, CPA



Kurt is a principal at Gumbiner Savett Inc. Kurt works with clients in a wide variety of industries including real estate, entertainment, hospitality and restaurants, non-profit organizations, manufacturing and distribution, apparel and professional service firms.

Kurt is a trusted advisor to his clients and consults with them on all aspects of their business cycle, including management operational matters, implementation of accounting systems, review of internal control structures and the implementation of improvements, preparation of financial forecasts and projections, analysis of financial data, business acquisitions and sales, financing arrangements, retirement arrangements, insurance and investment analysis.

Kurt has a great deal of experience in assisting clients with complex corporate, partnership and individual income tax matters. Kurt also serves high net worth individuals and their related entities to minimize their income tax.

Before joining Gumbiner Savett Inc., Kurt was a Principal and led the accounting department at a well-respected accounting firm in West Los Angeles, where he served clients in areas of tax and accounting matters.

Kurt is an active volunteer with Viking Charities organization where he serves as a member of the board of directors and as its treasurer. He enjoys sailing and playing his guitars. Kurt is an avid collector of guitars and cares for them with the same intensity he employs while serving his clients. Kurt and his wife Lisa reside in West Los Angeles.


Kurt is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
